Everything you need right here. A hometown business that has better service than the large chain stores clean and comfortable with great parking. Shop local CVS and rite aid don't need your business

I normally use Riteaid in Tamaqua but they didn't have the medication I need so they recommended Shafers to me. I called and the lady who helped me, Lisa, was awesome. She said they had those meds and she would take care of everything with Riteaid for me. I didn't have to do anything. She called me back within an hour and said my meds were ready for pickup! She was so polite, kind, and efficient. I was very pleased. Thankyou Shafer's and Lisa! 😃

I am a senior with vision and dexterity difficulties opening sealed tablets. Erica is very patient and kind. She noted this on my account. The tablets will be removed from manufacturer packaging and placed in a vial. Thank you very much, Erica!

Shafer's is a family owned pharmacy, I have never once had a problem with getting what I need there. They are nice people, very helpful, they understand that life can get tuff and they go out of there way to help you in anyway they can. From filling your perception fast, ordering something you need that they do not have or carry. To getting you a phone number so you can get the help you need. My husband is in the middle of kemo and needed this mouthwash for the blisters in his mouth and the pharmacist went out of her way to make it for him. Most drug stores do not carry it and very few know how to make it. So if your looking for a pharmacy that cares for you and not just there bottom line. Shafer's is the pharmacy for you.
